What a beautiful day! Hugo was a delightful guide; he created the perfect itinerary- a combination of gorgeous countryside complete with a chateau, old churches, historic landing beaches, lots of Norman cattle, and charming seaside villages. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Normandy. He brought loads of historic photos and maps to illustrate the events before and during DDay. The bikes were outstanding and easy to use. Bike paths or very quiet country roads 100%. It was a perfect day and I’ll always remember his kindness and assistance. THANK YOU, Hugo, for such wonderful memories.

Hugo was wonderful as our tour guide! He accommodated a reschedule of our tour due to poor weather. His e-bikes were high quality & in great shape. He is a local & shared his knowledge of the area & its history… even showing data to us on an iPad at several stops during the tour. The pace of the tour was matched with our abilities & Hugo was keen on insuring our safety & comfort! There were helmets, snacks, & water provided. Throughout the tour Hugo even took photos & videos of us & then shared them with us at the end.
During our 12 day visit to France we took several tours & met many people. But the most memorable tour was Hugo’s… & Hugo himself proved to be our favorite person! It is obvious that he enjoys his work & the people he hosts!

We were so excited to see some of the D-Day (operation Overlord tour) sites via bike but didn’t imagine what a truly wonderful experience it would be. Hugo at Petite Reine is the perfect guide….welcoming, informative and very fun. He is a native of Bayeux with a long family history here and many family stories. Hugo can explain any detail you want to know about D-Day as well as give you a tour of the beautiful Normandy countryside, history and traditions.

After a 5 day visit to busy Paris we did a tour with Hugo on the Normandy coast. Our group decided after completing all 15 days of our French vacation that our day with Hugo and Petite Reine was our favorite day. Wonderful bikes, beautiful and relaxing tour, great D-Day history to go along with our food and wine stops. I would do this tour again in a heart beat!
