Loved Petite Reine’s “Overlord” day trip. Hugo was a terrific host and guide, knowing exactly where to go to explain the incredible June 6 story. Hauling his iPad out to show the beach attacks, old town photos and 1944 landscape gave us a real sense of the D-Day events. Coupled with the Landing history, this is a terrific area for cycling.

After a 5 day visit to busy Paris we did a tour with Hugo on the Normandy coast. Our group decided after completing all 15 days of our French vacation that our day with Hugo and Petite Reine was our favorite day. Wonderful bikes, beautiful and relaxing tour, great D-Day history to go along with our food and wine stops. I would do this tour again in a heart beat!

We are 5 fun loving seniors who arranged for Hugo to guide us through Normandy for 5 days. Four of the days were spent on E-bikes and we had a wonderful time exploring the villages, beaches and sites that Normandy has to offer.
Hugo made the trip a very memorable, fun experience as he grew up in Bayeux and is very knowledgeable of the history and all the backroads that made this trip so fun and unique. Hugo usually had a surprise for us each day (homemade peach jam from the tree in his garden) and we so appreciated his attention to every detail.

We spent three days biking with Petite Reine in Normandy over the 75th Anniversary of D Day, it goes without saying that it will be one of our most memorable trips as a family.
The guides knowledge of the area was excellent & the electric bikes were super!
Everyone had a great time and there where a lot of nice surprises along the way.
I would highly recommend Petite Reine to anyone traveling as a family.

Hugo took us on an amazing bike journey through Normandy. For three days he lead us on a bike trip through incredible back roads of the Normandy countryside seeing all the important historic WWII sites and more. In addition to the "standard tourist" sites, Hugo took us to many places that were off the beaten path to give us a unique perspective of both History and the French countryside. He worked with our local bike shop to get all our measurements so when we arrived in France the bikes he provided were perfect.
Hugo's knowledge and professionalism was outstanding. Truly a once in a lifetime experience. Thanks Hugo

We spent the most wonderful 3 hours biking with Hugo during the last week of June. Hugo met us (2 adults and 3 young adults) at the house we were staying fully prepared with bikes, snacks and beverages. We biked through what is one my of most favorite places on earth, Normandy. Hugo was attentive, funny and knowledgeable about our ride. We rode through the beautiful countryside and made a stop at the historic Longeus-sur-Mer battery. We highly recommend Hugo and Petite Reine. Our only regret was that we did not do a longer tour!

This tour was the best activity that we undertook while on holiday in France. Hugo was an excellent guide, giving history and anecdotes about the area of Bayeux, Normandy and D-Day landing sites. The bikes were very easy to ride, an initial concern as I had not ridden a bike since being 17 years old, and Hugo was very well prepared for the trip, having a snack, water, and safety gear ready for our day. He stopped for us to take pictures and rode at our pace, checking regularly to ensure that we were ok with the ride. We highly recommend this tour, and will do it again on our return to France.

Hugo took us on a terrific bike trip to Omaha beach and the american cemetery - not only a great bicycle tour on its own, accompanied by deep knowledge about the region, the history, and the events that really made the experience come to life. We took a break from Paris to get a taste of the Normandy countryside -BEST DECISION EVER- and found petite Reine shortly after arriving in Bayeux...Our guide Hugo was fantastic and passionate about the region and history -
Although we biked 45k in one day-with the e bikes assisting with hills it felt like nothing difficult at all.
We cannot say enough wonderful things -just consider how absolutely boring and tiring it is to be on a bus or can-when you can feel the breeze and smell the flowers and fields while to travel to alternating and surprising points of interest.
My only regret was to not have known to buy/bring flowers to the American cemetery-while we did I not lose family there it would have been a comfort to leave a respectful bouquet.
